Description

Those last two panels took surprisingly long. Been trying to experiment with how I draw background, and though I don't think it necessarily worked out here, I think I can refine it in the future.

Nothing too new on the life front. Just been way too busy to describe. Kinda lonely too: haven't made any new friends in New York since I got here. But that's what the internet is for, right?
Hahahahahahahaha....  T^T

It's so weird. The PMD fandom is still going decently strong, and there are a lot of really beautiful and wonderful comics still updating in it. But I keep finding myself missing these old comics, and rereading the ones that are still up.

I remember when I first read this one, I was a lot younger. I kinda got overly impressed by the shading and gradients and pretty colors. The first pages are no longer so impressive to me, but the last pages are still so pleasing to the eye.

I'll have my doubts that you'll ever return to DA or see this comic, after this long. But I still love this comic. It had a bumpy start, but the concept is still just so compelling to me. The way Fire and Angel start out as the sympathetic heroes, but slowly you start to see everyone else's side of the story. You can genuinely understand why they find Fire naive and uncomfortable to be around, and why they hate or feel betrayed by Angel's actions. You can't help but feel bad for all of them.

It was a good story while it lasted. I don't blame you for never finishing it, sometimes you just wanna move on. But it's a great story and I'm glad it's still up here. Maybe I'll reread it again sometime.

Hope you're doing okay, wherever you are, whatever you're up to. Hope you have something you can be proud of.
